Project: Collapsing Buttress
An exposed section of masonry that had become very unstable and dangerous.
Working from the top to the bottom, all vegetation was removed before consolidating the masonry by both selective rebuilding and re-pointing. The lime mortar used was a match to the original and surrounding masonry.
