Project: Chapel Walls Phase 2
Previous repairs to the interior fabric of the chapel had seen the use of a sand and cement mixture, and unlike the North Wall, it was widespread across the face of the South Wall, and heavily concentrated around and within the window openings.
The cementitious mortar was removed and the wall and window openings were re-pointed in lime mortar, with the inclusion of stone pinnings and pieces of tile, to match the original and surrounding masonry.
